Skill: listening

Warm- up: the teacher provided a search word to students. As soon as children finished the search word, teacher checked the words that they fought.

Pre- listening: some flash cards were presented by the teacher in this stage. Also, teacher asked some questions what is this? And what are these?

During-listening: a worksheet was given by the teacher. Later, teacher played an audio about the school objects, so students had to the correct word according with the listening.

Post- listening: “Hot potatoes” was played by the students. The person who had the ball when the teacher finished count this person had to answer a question.

Wrap- up: students solved a puzzle game that the teacher provided.

            This class was about school items. The teachers had a good manage also in this case the children did not make a lot of noise. On the other hand, the class was developed in a good way, and the listening was nice because it was a funny song..

 Skill: vocabulary

Warm- up: a game was played by the students where the teacher told us one the part of the body and they have to touch it.

Presentation: the new vocabulary was presented by the teacher.

Practice: “Hot potatoes” was played by the students. The person who had the ball when the teacher finished count this person had to answer a question.

Production: students made three groups. In each groups students had to present the school object.

Wrap-up: students drew an object. After that, they named it.

            This class was amazing because the teachers did the class very different. They used a real school items. It was a good idea because students could identify the new vocabulary very easy.

Skill: Reading

Warm- up: some flash cards were given by the teacher to students where students had to make a short presentation about them. Also, students had to use the flash card and make the sound of this animal.

Pre- reading: some flash cards were presented by the teacher in this stage. Furthermore, the teacher thought them the different places where the animals live.

During-reading: a worksheet was given by the teacher with a reading called “at the zoo”. After that, each student read the article and they answered some questions about the reading.

Post- reading: some questions were asked by the teacher to the students. Under the desk was a paper with a name of the one animal where Children had to identify the places where the animals live.

Wrap- up: a worksheet was provided by the teacher to the students. They had to match the name of the animal with the pictures.

I really liked this class because the reading was according with the children. Also, the materials were very nice. They had a good manage with the kids and I believe that all these classes help us to improve our knowledge because every class our classmates do a good job like this class.

Skill: Grammar
Warm- up: A circle was made by the students where each student made a short presentation about himself or herself. Also, in the same time they made a funny sound of their favorite animal and the rest of the partner had to imitate.

Presentation: Some flash cards were presented by the teacher in this stage. Also, the vocabulary of the animal was using in singular and plural fort. Teacher presented the grammar structure what is that? And what are those?

Practice: Teacher put some flash cards on the board of the different wild animals where students had to answer the questions what is that? And what are those?

Production: A worksheet was provided by the teacher to the students. They had to complete the questions and they had to answer some exercises. Finally students shared the answers with their partners.

Wrap-up: “Hot potatoes” was played by the students. The person who had the ball when the teacher finished count this person had to answer a question about the previous knowledge.


            This was the second class of grammar. Teachers explained the topic in a good way because all the students understood very well. Also, they used a flash card of the animals and they gave the examples in singular and in plural form. The students participated in this stage.

Practice: some worksheets were provided by the teachers to the students. They matched the pictures with its noun.

Production: some worksheets were provided by the teachers for the students where the students had to paint their favorite animal and they shared their answer in from of us.

Wrap-up: Simon says was played by students with the teachers.

It was a funny class. The activities were according with the skill. Also, teachers used an amazing materials and worksheets, too. Only in one activity that they made a mistake because Gabriela said compare and Luisa said exchange, but the rest of the class most of the children understood the instruction and worked.

Warm- up: A circle was made by the students where they played “sharks are coming“. 

Pre- reading: The topic was presented using flashcards “family and emotions “, they used faces for the members of family and emotions that later was attached to teach family member´s face.

During-reading: The teacher read a short story about family and emotions. After the teacher provided a worksheet to the students and they followed the reading and they had to find the required words.
Post- reading: Students had to write one sentence using the vocabulary presented. 

Wrap- up: The teacher did a short review using the material of the presentation.

This class was very funny because all the activities were according with the topic and the skill. I liked when the teachers made groups and work with the students. Also, students practiced speaking making short sentences themselves.
